Parameters affecting the educational achievement for vocational and technical schools’ students

The main objective of this study was to investigate the effects of academic engagement, quality of education, and peer-assisted learning on academic motivation as an influential variable in the academic achievement of vocational and technical schools’ students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation matrix, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The findings of the structural equation model with a proper fit, the direct effect of academic engagement (t= 4.49), peer-assisted learning (t=2.38), and quality of education (t=3.04) the motivation is greater than the amount (t=1.96) academic achievement scores. The only indirect effect on the quality of education (t=2/01) is significant, thus mediating the role of academic motivation in academic achievement in this study confirmed the effectiveness of quality of education The findings and outcomes of this study are useful for teachers, principals, and policymakers in the field of education to improve the quality of teaching and learning. |
