    Abstract:   (61 Views)
Separation anxiety disorder is one of the most common disorders in children. The current research is practical and its purpose is to identify and classify classroom and family games that are effective in reducing separation anxiety disorder in four- to eight-year-old children. The present research method consists of two parts. The first part is identification, which was done by the method of library study and systematic review of articles and scientific texts available in databases. The second part is the Delphi method. In this method, the opinions of experts have been used to check the findings obtained in the first part. In the first part of the research method, the statistical population included written sources, articles and authoritative scientific documents. Sampling from this community was done in a purposeful way and based on the opinion of the researcher. Also, 5 experts in the field of psychology and counseling to classify games and get their analysis about the impact of games based on the judgment of the researcher and purposefully selected as the sample of the second part of the research method. Experts' opinions about the effectiveness of each game in reducing each of the components of separation anxiety were investigated with the help of a researcher's checklist as a research method tool. The findings showed that more than half of the games found on at least four of the eight components of separation anxiety (fear of loneliness, fear of abandonment, worry about dangerous accidents, inappropriate child-parent interaction and communication, weak social relationships, low level Self-confidence and self-esteem, mistrust of others and emotional dysregulation) have a good or moderate effect.  Therefore, the game is an effective strategic intervention to reduce children's separation anxiety disorder, and teachers and parents can use the suggested games to reduce children's separation anxiety disorder and prevent its adverse consequences.
