Abstract
The purpose of this study was to design and analyze a comprehensive 360 degree manager performance appraisal system in a large company in Isfahan, Iran. Therefore, 54 employees were selected as following: 9 managers, 9 superiors, 9 colleagues, and 27 subordinates. The research questionnaire was the Iranian Managerial Position Questionnaire (IMPQ), prepared by a group of specialists with 82 items in a 5-point Likert scale and with 9 sub-scales. The 9 managers completed the questionnaire with regard to themselves and the other subjects completed it with regard to those managers. The results showed that :(1) the mean total scores of self-appraisal of managers was significantly higher than either their supervisors__AWT_QUOTE__ or subordinates__AWT_QUOTE__ appraisals of them (bothwere significantat P

Abstract
The present study investigated risk and resilience processes in a sample of residential foster care Iranian adolescents. Based on Jessor’s (1998) Problem Behavior Theory, the risk factors comprised theoretically derived composite indices computed for three kinds of risk: models risk, opportunity risk and vulnerability risk at the individual and at four contextual levels: the foster home, peers, school and the neighborhood. For this purpose, adolescent girls (n = 69) and boys (n = 71) living in eight residential foster homes in the city of Tehran, responded to an adapted version of the Adolescent Health and Development Questionnaire, Jessor, 1998) and their caregivers rated the adolescents’ mental health with the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ, Goodman, 2001). Dimensional measures of conduct problems, ADHD, emotional symptoms, and prosocial behavior were associated directly with several risk factors indices and with interaction of risk factors. Also, gender interacted with risk factors to predict health outcomes. Neither main effects nor interaction effects were predictive of peer problems. The risk factors associated with foster home adolescents’ social and emotional health are broadly in line with previous published findings. Indicated prevention public health programs should target this high-risk population and seek to reduce risk factors while simultaneously strengthening protective factors to enhance adolescents’ mental health. In addition, these programs need to address multiple targets, which will benefit a wide range of individuals in this population.

Abstract
Given the importance of drug addiction, this article aims to study the current relationship between personality disorders and types of drugs used (narcotics and stimulants) in Iranian addicts. The sample consisted of 285 drug addicts including 132 narcotic addicts and 153 stimulant addicts selected randomly in several phases. Data collecting process was accomplished by means of clinical interviewing based on DSM-IV criteria for addiction, Addiction Severity Index (ASI), and Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory – III (MCMI-III). Using Pearson correlation coefficient and regression, the gathered data were analyzed. There was a significant correlation between stimulant consumption and histrionic personality disorder (p

Abstract
Type D personality is predictive of adverse clinical outcome and psychological distress in cardiac patients. The mechanisms by which type D personality influences health are largely unknown. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between type D personality and the health locus of control. A sample of 588 students (370 females and 218 males)were selected, according to the cluster random sampling method, from the students of Tabriz University and were asked to complete a questionnaire about type D personality and Multidimensional Health Locus of Control. Research data were analyzed by statistical methods of Pearson correlation and stepwise regression analyses. The results showed that, through dimensions of Health Locus of Control, only the relationship between negative affect and social inhibition with health locus of control of powerful others were positive and statistically significant. Also, regression analysis showed that components, such as negative affect and social inhibition were good predictors for health locus of control of powerful others. Based on these findings, we conclude that people with type D personality have high health locus of control of powerful others__AWT_NOKT_COMMA__ and both dimensions, i.e., negative affect and social inhibition, are correlated with high powerful others’ health locus of control.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the relationship of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy with Job Satisfaction of high school teachers. The study population consisted of all high school teachers in Kermanshah and participants (including 142 males and 158 females) were selected by the multistage sampling method. Research tools included Shrink__AWT_QUOTE__s (1995) Emotional Intelligence questionnaire, Sherer__AWT_QUOTE__s (1982) Self-Efficacy and theWysocki and Kromm’s (1994) Job Descriptive Index, respectively. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression methods have been used for data analysis. Results showed that the correlations between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction (r =.204) and self-efficacy and job satisfaction (r =.21) are significant (P

Abstract
The WHOQOL-BREF is one of the best known questionnaires for measuring the quality of life. It is currently available in more than 40 languages and has been used frequently in cross-cultural comparison studies on subjective well-being and quality of life studies. Some research shows that due to certaincultural biases Iranian respondentshave no tendency or willingness to responding some questions, more specially, question 21, in WHOQOL-BREF. The main aim of the current research was to use the ability and flexibility of fuzzy systems to analyse the WHOQOL-BREF questions to reduce some unclear or doubtful questions. A fuzzy system model proposes to diminish the errors that produce ambiguous concepts by not responding to certain biased questions.TheWHOQOL-BREEquestionnaire was analyzed and both the traditional model and the fuzzy model analyses were compared for results using fuzzy systems. As a result, question 21 was removed from the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire used by the fuzzy system.

Abstract
This study aimed to determine the efficacy of acceptance and commitment based therapy (ACT) on depressive symptoms and cognitive emotion regulation strategies in depressive students. The research method was a quasi-experimental study with pretest-posttest and follow-up design with the control group. The sample was selected by multistage sampling method and included 40 students who were matched from age, educational status, lack of mental and physical diseases, clinical interview and acquiring higher than 19 on the Beck Depression Inventory-Second Edition (BDI-II) and other criteria considered in this research. The participants were randomly divided into groups as control and experimental. The research instruments included Beck Depression Inventory second edition (BDI-II) and cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire (CERQ), respectively. The experimental group received 8 sessions of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) but the control group did not receive any intervention. The results showed a significant difference between the two groups in terms of depression and cognitive emotion regulation strategies (p

The purpose of the present research was to study the relationship between hardiness and hope and life satisfaction in organizational managers working in the Education Ministry of Ahvaz, Iran. The research method of this study was multiple correlation in nature in which hardiness and hope are considered as predictor variables and life satisfaction is the predictable variable. A sum of 164 organizational managers in Ahvaz Education Ministry was selected through random cluster sampling. Participants completed the personal view survey (PVS), the D inner’s life satisfaction scale (SWLS) and the trait hope scale (THS). The data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. The results of this research showed that there was a significant positive relationship between hardy personality traits, including its subscales of commitment, control and challenge with hopefulness (including its subscales agency and pathways p<.001), Furthermore, there was a significant positive relationship between psychological hardiness and its subscales with life satisfaction and hopefulness and its subscales with life satisfaction (p<.001),The results of regression analysis showed that hope agency, commitment, control and pathway orderly offered the most significant contribution in predicting life satisfaction.
