| Early maladaptive schemas can increase anxiety in teenagers. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between early maladaptive schemas and anxiety in both male and female high school students in the Tehran city. The design of this research is descriptive-correlational and the study sample includes all male and female high school students from district 5 of Tehran city enrolled in the academic year of 2012-13.
