Later, the sociometry questionnaire wasadministered to 1232students of these schools to identify the popular and secluded ones. Openness to change consisted of the three components of self-direction, stimulation and hedonism. For statistical analysis, two-way MANOVA was used. The research results revealed that the values of self-direction, stimulation, and hedonism were found more in the popular group than in the secluded group. In addition, openness to change was also found to be greater among the popular adolescents than the secluded ones.
